These are par-day programs, which operate to provide enrichment activities for young children. Daily schedules may include a variety of developmental activities such as art, movement, music, snack and free play. Typically, programs operate on a school year calendar with morning or afternoon sessions available. Some offer summer session and/or extended childcare hours to meet the needs of working families. In addition to the fees noted, most programs charge additional fees such as registration fees.
