Davis is a very child friendly town. There are many great parks with playground equipment, there are swimming pools for very young children, and a number of other recreational facilities that are suited for families with children of all ages.

are as many as 38 parks and open spaces in Davis, many include a toddler
play area and play equipment for older children. In addition there are play
areas along the greenbelt.

The Farmer's Market includes a variety of vendors that offer fresh fruit,

in the "Picnic in the Park" hours.
